Janice Davis
Janice Davis’s oil paintings evoke the wonder of nature from a singular majestic tree to the far-reaching and ancient galaxies. Unconventional landscapes full of secret surprises verging on the abstract with symbols, rich colors and textures. Studied in the 80’s at the San Francisco Art Institute. Received Fine Art Degree from Jose State University in 1985.
Jodie Ball
I am a native Texan who has made Sedona my permanent home. I have 2 grown children, a son and a daughter, and my husband, John Gafford. I have a Masters and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and spent the last 27 years as a Research and Development scientist for Abbott Laboratories in the Dallas area. Upon retirement I began the pursuit of my second passion (science being my first passion), art and painting. I have had the good fortune to do a lot of European travel and see a lot of the great art in other countries. These travels and the beauty of Sedona provide a wellspring of inspiration for my paintings.
Betty Dion
Betty’s paintings hang in the private collections of patrons from England, Canada and the U.S. She is the founder of the Sedona Plein Air Network and a member of the Arizona Plein Air Painters and Arts Morin Heights events.

Karen O’Donnell,
Karen is a native Phoenician, a current resident of Sedona, and a lifelong resident of Arizona.
Karen has worked in many mediums. Her current focus includes a variety of subject matters, from animals to the local Sedona landscapes.
She enjoys photography and painting in a variety of mediums, with oil being her current preference to create and shape her imagination.
Karen's art is founded in impressionism mixed with a splash of contemporary flair. Her style is unique. Creating images of the natural world in bold colors invites the viewer to see and experience the world through her perspective.
Project Name
Born and raised in Massachusetts, David Raymond Marsh divides his time between Amherst and Orleans, Massachusetts and Sedona, Arizona. After careers in pediatrics, public health and global health, he "retired" to capture and interpret the beauty of creation through representational landscape painting. He was happily surprised to learn of the outsized role of "science" in creating beauty--color theory, composition rules, the physics of light and paint application, the chemistry and toxicology of paint, and the physiology and psychology of color perception, and more. When science, esthetics, and the soul converge to approximate beauty, perhaps it's a glimpse into the mind of God!
